Faithful Unto Death

The Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, England, has a painting of a Roman soldier faithfully standing guard in ancient Pompeii. The painting was inspired by an archaeological discovery in Pompeii of an ashen-encased Roman soldier in full military gear. The volcanic eruption on Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79 covered that city in lava, capturing the people and their culture in a moment of time. The painting Faithful Unto Death is a testimony to the sentinel's continuing vigil even as his world was being engulfed in fiery death.

The church at Smyrna, a 1st century congregation that suffered persecution for Christ, was challenged to be faithful unto death. Their spiritual commitment had not gone unnoticed by the master. And for the suffering that was to come, Jesus offered this encouragement: "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested...be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life" (Rev 2:10)

Worn Out!

What an eventful weekend! Milk & Honey ministered at Bethany SDA yesterday morning and the holy spirit was definitely in the room. I just thank God for allowing me to make it safely from Orlando and I thank him for my awesome friends who celebrated my birthday with me. I even lost my voice! I'll be leaving in the a.m. but once again, I'll be back before you know it. Keep me and M&H in prayer.

Better Days

Life has been hard for me the last couple of months but God is able to do EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY, above ALL I could ever ask or think. Matthew 17:20 says that even faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. If you're in a situation and you don't know which way to turn, open up God's word. God created us in His image making us royalty and each of us unique in our own way. Meaning that we all have value. Which is why he sent His son to pardon our sins. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did not die on the cross for junk. We all have a PURPOSE in Christ!!

The Sabbath is Over :(

I had a WONDERFUL time this weekend at the South Florida Adventist Youth Federation. God was definitely in the midst and no one can deny that. I can't wait till next year! Pray for me as I travel back up to Orlando in a few hours. Once again, I'll be back in Miami before you know it.

The Sabbath is here!!

What a day!

This week has really been a hectic one but guess what?? The sabbath it almost here!! I can't wait to be in the house of the Lord. God has kept me this week and I can't thank Him enough. I'm Ready to give Him the praise He deserve. What a mighty God we serve. - Sherieda

This morning I woke up with a heavy heart and I started listening to a gospel song and it felt like God was speaking to me at that moment telling me to keep fighting, don't give, keep on striving because your job isn't finish yet. Just hearing those thoughts in my head made me smile. No matter what the situation is keep fighting until god says its done. -Sherieda

Farewell (For a While)

Hey guys, this is Kensa from MNH and it is officially move BACK to Orlando day. For those of you who don't know, I currently attend UCF in Orlando, Fl.. The only time I'm in Miami on a consistent basis is when I'm on breaks. BUT, I do come down occasionally(1-2x a month) for performances. Its farewell for now but I'll be back before anyone notices I'm gone :) So goodbye and keep me and the rest of the group in prayer as we begin another school year.

Makin' Moves

Milk and Honey had such an amazing weekend ministering at Cathedral of Pentecost on Friday and Redeeming Word on Saturday. Since the concert mountains have moved, lives have been changed and the best is yet to come! Keep us in prayer as we continue to spread the word of God through music.

This is just the beginning!!

Milk n Honey's concert was a great success! We are so blessed with people who love are music and our purpose as a ministry. We are so excited about our coming events; like this Friday we will be ministering at Cathedral of Pentecost in Davie Fl and then the Saturday following we will be ministering at Redeeming Word in Tamarac Fl. This is just the beginning and we are ready to move forward at bring people to God.

Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.

In the last week b4 our concert! We are so excited. The EP is going to be amazing. The Lord has truly blessed us with great gifts to glorify His name. July 14th is going to be a great Sabbath!

Day 4 of fasting has officially begun and BOY is it getting though! But it'll all pay off on Saturday when we get on that stage and give praise to God with the talents he has given us. Till then it'll be more fasting and even more praying. God has given us so much. The very least we can do is sacrifice the things we love for one week. Keep us in prayer :)

July 14th is getting closer and closer. Alot of work is being put into this EP and concert. We put together 5 original songs on this EP that we know will glorify ?God and bless everyone who listens. This is just the beginning of a long journey. The enemy wont let us go without a fight. But since we have God on our side he is no match for us.

In ministry it is important that everyone is equally minded. With unity; the goals that are set will be much easier to obtain. There is confusion in the christian faiths because of the simple fact that we as people are blinded by our own desires and look into the Word of God just to find a compromise for ourselves. However, if we all were to truly strip down and just allow God to manifest within us so that all we do is want to please Him. Our goal to bring many people to the feet of God would be much easier to obtain.

Thanking the Lord for the wonderful things that He has done for me; big or small. Good friends are very hard to find. Especially friends who love and serve the Lord. I'm glad that God has placed the right people around me and Milk n Honey who truly love us and want the best for us. Put God first in everything that you do and it will always be great.
